A European TMS for international road freight

A European TMS has to handle what one-country software does not: per-diems that change at every border, tolls in six systems, fuel cards from a dozen issuers, foreign VAT to claim back, and documents in the client's language. BID Partners was built in Belgrade with hauliers who drive from the Balkans to Germany, Italy and the Netherlands every week.

Used by 45 companies in five countries, with support in English and Serbian on weekdays from 8 to 18 CET.

    Per country, from GPS

    Border crossings and kilometres per country come from GPS positions. Per-diems are computed by country and rate, tolls are allocated by lane, and foreign VAT is recorded by country for refund.

    Cards and statements by issuer

    MOL, Eurowag, Shell, DKV, ENP, VERAG, NIS, OMV, Euro Petrol, EKO, ØresundPay and ATOL statements import and match to vehicle, tour and driver.

    Documents in four languages

    Driver order, client confirmation, carrier order and travel order on the company letterhead in English, German, Slovak and Serbian. The same order goes to a German client and a local driver.

    Support that knows the lanes

    The team that builds the system answers tickets, phone, Viber and WhatsApp on weekdays from 8 to 18 CET, with response deadlines. Remote assistance through BID Remote.

    English interface, GBP invoicing, permits and CMR for European work. No UK-specific tax filing yet.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work for a company outside Serbia?

Yes. Companies in Slovakia, Slovenia, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina already run on it. Country-specific modules, such as Serbian e-invoicing, are switched on only where they apply.

What languages is support in?

English and Serbian, on weekdays from 8 to 18 CET, through tickets in the app, phone, Viber and WhatsApp.

Where is the data?

On Microsoft Azure in Europe, with backups. The data is yours and exports at any time.
