Legal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 August 2026. Applies to the BID Partners Driver mobile application and the BID Partners platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how BID Partners ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the BID Partners Driver mobile application (the "App") and the BID Partners logistics platform (the "Platform").

The App and the Platform are operated by BID Partners d.o.o. Beograd, Ustanička 222, 11050 Belgrade, Serbia (Tax ID/PIB: 113905995).

1. Who we are

BID Partners provides a logistics management platform for transport and freight-forwarding companies. The BID Partners Driver App is used by professional drivers whose employer (a transport company) has an account on the Platform. Driver accounts are created and managed by the employer. There is no public self-registration in the App.

For driver data processed through the App, the employer (transport company) acts as the data controller and BID Partners acts as the data processor on its behalf. For data related to the operation of the Platform itself, BID Partners acts as the controller.

Contact: admin@bid.partners

2. Data we collect

  • Account and profile data: full name, e-mail address, phone number and profile photo, as entered by you or your employer.
  • Login data: your credentials are used to sign you in; an authentication token is stored in your device's secure storage so you stay signed in.
  • Work data: transport orders and tours assigned to you, cost entries you record (for example fuel, tolls, parking) and related amounts, dates and notes.
  • Documents and photos: photos and scans of receipts, invoices and transport documents that you capture with the camera or choose from your gallery. These are converted to PDF on your device and uploaded to your employer's account on the Platform.

The App does not collect your device location (GPS), contacts, call logs or messages, and contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

3. App permissions

  • Camera: used only when you choose to photograph or scan a document. Images are processed on your device and uploaded only when you confirm.
  • Photos / storage: used only when you choose an existing image or file to attach. On modern Android versions the system photo picker is used, so the App has no access to your other photos.

4. Why we process data

  • To operate the App: sign-in, showing your assigned orders and tours, recording costs and uploading documents.
  • To enable your employer to manage its transport operations, costs and documentation (performance of the contract between BID Partners and the employer, and the employer's legitimate business interest).
  • To keep the Platform secure and prevent misuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations (for example accounting and tax rules that apply to cost documents).

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

5. Sharing of data

  • Your employer: everything you enter in the App (costs, documents, photos) is visible to authorized users of your employer's account on the Platform, which is the very purpose of the App.
  • Hosting providers: the Platform and its data are hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Providers act on our instructions and do not use the data for their own purposes.
  • Authorities: only where required by applicable law.

6. Data retention

Profile data is kept while your account exists. Work data, cost entries and uploaded documents belong to your employer's business records and are kept as long as the employer's account requires, including statutory retention periods for accounting documentation. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Security

All communication between the App and the Platform is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication tokens are kept in the operating system's secure storage on your device, and the App excludes them from device cloud backups. Access to data on the Platform is restricted by user roles and permissions.

8. Your rights

Under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability and the right to object. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Serbia: Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti).

Because driver accounts are managed by your employer, the quickest way to exercise these rights is through your employer. You can also contact us directly at admin@bid.partners and we will assist or forward your request to the responsible controller.

9. Account deletion

To delete your BID Partners Driver account and the personal data associated with it, ask your employer's administrator to deactivate and remove your account, or send a request to admin@bid.partners from the e-mail address linked to your account. Data that must be kept by law (for example cost documents that are part of accounting records) is retained for the statutory period and then deleted.

10. Children

The App is intended for professional drivers and is not directed at persons under 18 years of age.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page, and the effective date above shows when it was last changed. For significant changes we will inform users through the App or the Platform.
